What do the Pirates do after the Vazquez arrest?

Since Felipe Vazquez has admitted to what he was charged with, we can safely say that his MLB career is done.

***Please keep the comments baseball related. There's already a thread in OT Debates if you want to discuss the morality of what Vasquez has admitted to***

Obviously the impact to baseball is secondary, but let's talk about the devastating impact this has to the Pirates organization and their future plans. How do they move forward? This feels lower than we were towards the end of the 20 year losing streak.

I think that we need to clean house. NH and crew had a good run, but it's over. He's lost the trust of the fans. They've made countless mistakes over the last several seasons. Not trading Vasquez, for one, has turned into a loss opportunity. Granted, they had no idea this was coming.

The Archer trade will go down as the worst in team history, and among the worst in all of baseball. And to think that they only did it because a historic July winning streak got the within range of a one game wildcard spot. I hated the trade then, and now it's just been a colossal mistake.

There's just not a lot of excitement around the club right now

Just remember, the Pirates play the Tigers 4 times every season. Get your tickets early and often.

(snorts) The Mets have made at least three worse trades in the last 12 months alone… the Archer trade won't even come close…

Wonder how the Bucs will be greeted now in Detroit. Michigan fans can be brutal.

Your first mistake may be in assuming that there will be a crowd there brutal or otherwise.
