Mid-90s MLB league looking for a few good owners

The OTBL Corporation is the proud parent company of MLB 93, a real-player historical league that began in 1993. The third season (1995) was just completed with the Atlanta Braves edging out the Cleveland Indians in a 7-game series.

Now, we are looking for more owners to join the league! We are a three-sim-a-week league, simming one week at a time during the season. More information on the league can be found here. As part of the OTBL, you will need to register before you can participate, but it's a quick and painless procedure.

Current openings are:
Cleveland - the Indians are the reigning AL champions and were in 1993 as well -- they are loaded with talent with the likes of Jim Thome, Albert Belle, and Manny Ramirez. This is a great chance for you to succeed where their real-life counterparts did not.

Toronto - the Blue Jays have fallen on some hard times, but still have some talented players like Chris Carpenter, Robbie Alomar, Carlos Delgado, and Shawn Green.

St. Louis - the Cardinals made the post season in 1993, but need some help getting back. With Bernard Gilkey, Ray Lankford, and John Olerud, they have some pieces to build around.

Chicago White Sox - Alex Fernandez and a young Magglio Ordonez lead this team.

San Diego - OK, the Padres have been bad. There's no getting around that. But several years of good drafts mean they have the top-rated farm system.

I'm going to regret this but I'm going to have to pass.I already joined another Historical League.I wish that work thing didn't get in the way of priorities like OOTP.All the best to you and your great league. Lou

Two more teams are now available!

The San Francisco Giants are loaded, and have made the playoffs each of the three years of the league's existence. With Barry Bonds, Will Clark, Robby Thompson, John Burkett, and Billy Swift, they're in good shape to do it again.

The Montreal Expos have built themselves up pretty nicely, with Vladimir Guerrero, Kevin Mitchell, Cliff Floyd, Bob Tewksbury, and Wilson Alvarez leading them. They haven't made the playoffs yet, but they are competitive.

If you're interested, PM me and let me know! We're about to start the 1996 season - Opening Day is on Saturday, and we're in the draft right now.
