Initial impressions
Very sleek and nice looking. The stadium builder looks cool and can't wait to see it expanded and modded.

So far terrific.. Set up perfect teams, now playing a few exhibition games going thru the different camera angles etc... This game came out at the right time.. Not going out of the house for quite a while with everything going on.. Plenty of food (and Beer) I will be an expert on OOTP 21 in no time!

I think I most anticipated the new scouting system. It'll take some time to determine the effects, but the changes are going to alter the way I play. It opens up a whole new world of gathering information on players prior to making a move, and I can't wait to further dig in.
So far, so good. It feels real. |

Love the new camera angles! Of which there are a pretty significant number. Also like dividing the angles into pre-pitch, pitch, and action. You're starting to get increased flexibility as to whether you want a more TV-like experience or a "sitting in the stands at the ballpark" or "watching from the pressbox" experience. We're a long way from the pawns.
I might suggest adding first and third base dugout angles as well. I think you can probably add those manually, but just a thought. |

Love the camera angles as well!
I am trying to customize my player labels to get them out of the way but it isnt working. Maybe we can get an option to remove player labels on the screen |

All i can say is WOW, love the camera switching from pitcher view to batter
haven't even tried the stadiums yet. I have been around since 2003 and every year i consider it money well spent. I'm 70 this year so i have to distance my self from society for a while, this release will make the time fly..thanks again Markus for this years version.... |

Really love the camera angles. I'm playing around with them quite a bit. There's so many options that I'll probably switch between them to keep things fresh. Really nice addition.

I've oly played 4 games so far but pitching doesn't seem great and scoring seems really high so far the scores have been 8-7, 10-1, 10-8

And around the bend they come.....here we go....
It's a first impression thread, folks, and different strokes as they say. Need all input and it's okay sometimes to let it go. On to the next.

For an at-the-game experience, I suggest using 1B Stands view for all with no ball follow.

I'm amazed by how awesome the 3-D game is. The pitcher movement is a great addition and the "telecast" is gorgeous.
The customization of sections is fantastic really a beautiful addition and a really helpful one as well. Haven't seen the draft stuff yet, but I LOVE the way the prospect lists are portrayed and how you can do top 10, 25 and such. I also love how you can do it for your, or someone else's organization and gain access to "different opinions" (prospect portal) the addition of the statistics is a really nice feature as well. Game flow is cool. Despite being a long time user it's a nice addition I like it. Trying to find more new stuff so I'm betting I post again. But I LOVE it so far great job as usual!
