Feeling Guilty
It's late in the game and I'm down 7 - 1. The other team decides to steal second. 2 innings in a row. So I get upset and bean the next batter. He's out for 5 weeks with a broken hand. !!!!!!
This game is too real for me. |

I started a game with the 1932 White Sox because they were the worst team in franchise history. In game 1 of a series against the Yankees, I put in my worst pitcher when we were losing and ordered him to bean Ruth and Gehrig in the hopes of injuries or suspensions. Gehrig is now suspended. I won the remaining games of the series. So long Iron Man.

Never feel bad. You did your job. You do it again.
I remember one season Cody bellinger was like a 75hr+ hitter for several seasons. I beaned him every at bar trying to get him into a fight to get kicked out. |

[Takes a deep breath, head down, hands clasped to keep them from shaking.] More than once, I have gotten angry enough at an opposing player to "hire some goons" to give him a CEI in retribution. There, I said it. And I'll do it again, I just know it! [Tears shirt in anguish.] Hey, this could turn into quite a thread! What ELSE have people done in their games to feel guilty about, hmmm?

In my fictional league, I had a starting pitcher that, looking at his ratings, should have been my top guy. He'd gotten rocked his previous 3 starts. In his third start, I pulled him after 1 1/3 innings and 5 runs allowed to "teach him a lesson". The next start, he gave up 2 in the first, 1 in the second and after allowing 3 more in the third, I decided I was leaving that bastard in and hoped his arm would fall off so I could put him on the DL and bring up someone else. Well, 9 innings and 13 runs later, all I got out of it was a rested bullpen.

That is nothing. You could have gone Stalin. Going to commissioner mode and deleting the player removing all traces he ever existed would have been much more evil.

Oh... My... God... Déjà Bru, I can't believe that..You're a monster!! LOL
I wish I had a good one to share. I've read about quite a few brawls in my daily news at the office, but the closest I've had was when Dave Winfield attacked his own teammate in the locker room for calling him out; Dave's lazy play and bad attitude was not helping things. Big Dave was suspended for 5 games.

I have also learned through other posts that if you bean two batters in a row then a fight will start. Make sure you put your worst reliever in because there will be suspensions.
