Ignoring Achievitments.
So far I've had the following achievments ignored by OOTP.
Most RBI in a season Individual. Broke record still playing. Most SB in a Season Individual Most SB Games individual. 2 Perfect Games (one only recorded as no-hitter Team Combined No Hitter team But during my latesr game I saw one of my players was fifth all time in walks. There are planty of places to find all kinds of Basesball records, maybe the reocords be kept in a database that is checked after each gsme/ save. |

I've noticed this as well, it has always annoyed me. Easy ones like bat around in an inning, hit a walkoff, or have a 2 HR game get ignored for me. This is of course something little that has no impact on the actual game, but just an annoyance.

If I remember correctly High Heat was great about this. It would say that "so and so threw a no hitter and it was the first since (insert date of last no hitter). It was pretty detail oriented on achievements if I remember correctly...wish OOTP would do this. I would love to see "so and so has hit for the cycle today, that hasn't been done since (insert date) by (insert player)." Maybe in the future it will happen.

The Elias Book of Baseball Records:
1) Most runs scored, team, regular season, 25th inning 2) Most triples, given up by a pitcher, in one inning 3) Most unassisted double plays, first baseman, game 4) Most pinch runners, inning There over 400 pages of these... Any "true" baseball fan will never run out of records they want to see and have recorded. As a "true" baseball fan, I agree, but as a game player, but I'm not certain having the game keep every record won't be at the expense of game play or computer performance. I certainly don't think every record needs to be kept as I've probably skipped over 75% of that particular book. Maybe we could identify which records most of us (or a plurality) we all find most needed? Last edited by Drstrangelove; 07-06-2019 at 04:51 PM. |
