Load OOTP17 League?

Will it be possible to continue my online league that uses OOTP17 in OOTP19?

I believe you need to import to 18, then to 19.

Pretty sure you can download the 18 demo and do it that way. Then transfer it to 19 when you buy it.

I think you download the 18 demo and transfer it without having to purchase it.

Yeah I had an old version of OOTP and I didn't buy the new one for the next two years thinking that if I did, I would have to start a new league.

I think the ability to continue a save through multiple year's games might be OOTP's most underrated feature.

It also proves why OOTP is the best. A game like Madden or NBA 2K would never do that because no one would buy the new game the next year as they barely add any new features from year to year. OOTP is so great because, even though we are simply continuing our save, OOTP adds so much to the game each year that most of us still want to buy it.

I'm pretty sure you can do that with Madden wouldn't be suprised if 2K had it for the NBA. I just don't think it's as popular feature with those 2 games.

Not a feature in either. It’s in MLB the Show.

Was just talking about this in Slack with some other GMs in the online league that I run.

The MoneyBall Union started in real life 2004 and is going strong in 2018, 14+ years! In game we have gone from 2023 and currently in the playoffs in 2089. We've had multiple commissioners (I've been commish for 4.5yrs) and 148 different human general managers!

I believe we started in OOTP5!!

All of this driven by a bunch of baseball lovers and the amazing vision of Markus and his baby, OOTP.
