Hotfix build 18.7.72 now available!

OK folks, we have fixed the issue with missing player award icons in new MLB standard games that got introduced in 18.7.71 and another rare issue which caused the disappearing of minor league players on human teams when the user had a certain setting combination of AI controls.

Yup. Especially such a complex product like OOTP, with its millions of settings combinations, is impossible to get totally bug free...

The fact that is has so few bugs, and they get fixed so quickly is a credit to you and your team!

I hadn't even encountered any of the bugs from the last update when I see this hot fix! You guys are awesome in how quickly you address things.

I recently started a new MLB standard games that got introduced in 18.7.71. and I am into a month in season. Do we need to create a new game for changes to apply for these fixes to work or will these fixes update the recently started game?

unless it's a change to a specific player or coach etc, you don't have to restart.

from .71 -> .72 .... 99.9999% sure that you don't have to worry.

.69 had new roster updates... if you updated from before that point, you would need to restart to see player-specific changes that were made.

If you want the award icons for players from the previous years, you will need to create a new game. You'll get new award icons going forward, but will need a new game to get the history.

I'm getting an error during the install: "A decompression error has occurred." Followed by "unknown decompression error."

Try re-downloading to a different spot on your hard drive. Maybe after restarting your system. Then install again.

And delete any existing ootp18.exe that may already exist in the target install directory.
