When I posted that post (the one you have quoted me in), I had no idea that Canada/Edmonton had a soccer team called the Edmonton Drillers, lol. I thought it would be a fitting/good team nickname simply because of Edmonton's history of Oil, or the exploration of it (which is why I believe the name 'Explorers' would also be another good choice). I had found out about the Edmonton Drillers when I searched for a Drillers team logo on Google. The Drillers logo that popped up is the same exact one as the one posted in this thread, and the only thing changed(different) is the soccer ball being replaced by a baseball. And that Drillers logo and uni/cap set looks fantastic!! Great job to the guy who created them!!! I may have to use that in one of my International leagues in my Fictional MLB universe.

But I definitely agree that 'Drillers' is a very good team nickname (imo, at least).

OP, update us when you decide and show us the logo/cap/uniform set when finished, cool??

By the way, the team name Edmonton Eskimos is considered incredibly racist by the Inuit population in Canada.

This is in line with the Redskins more than the Braves, if you get my analogy.

Couldn't care if it is pc or not Eskimos will still be an option. I am a Eskimos fan in the CFL so that's why it is an option.
