Creating fictional fighters

I've been toying with the demo some more and I've been getting an idea to start an all-fictional universe... but what all is involved in setting up a database of fighters and how should I be distributing who is TT and who is SOC?

Recommendations for how many fighters per weight class I should have?

Also, what's the fights range for the age groups?

Pick a number that is easy to manage. I would think that you would need somewhere in the vacinity of 3 to 4 tomato cans for every real fighter (assuming you want to mimic real fighters records). You can find the Tomato Can Template files on Cornerwork.com as well as files of fictional fighters for each weight class.

Pierre had some great posts regarding Fictional fighters and realistic ratings distributions. Here are links to some of the threads were he discussed some of this stuff (pity he's not around anymore):

Also look for the Fighter Generator from a couple months ago.

This is personal taste but I would think any range of values leading to fighters having between 40 to 100 fights is quite normal. I would use a setup like this:

5-8
10-20
15-35
10-20
5-25

Hope that helps,

Mark
