A Tale of Three Trouts - How is this so?
I've noticed this before, but there seem to be some variations on the same card. Look at the three 100 MLB Live Mike Trouts I've uploaded.
They're all identical in batting so I'm not comparing a regular with TOTY or All-Star. Look at the Position Ratings: Trout3 is mine, an "Off the shelf" 85 rated CF Trout2 also has a 90 RF rating Trout1 adds a 109 LF rating How do I make MY Mike Trout a super-Utility Outfielder like Trout1? |

Play him at other positions and he gets better.

Play him in games at LF & RF, he'll also train a bit at 1B

He needs about 100 games at a position to max out his ability there. As a reference point, my Mike Trout (the same card as in the OP) has 44 games in left field and 43 games in right field. He's currently rated at 84 and 72 for those positions.
