Jack Warhop pitched well but was long gone by the time the Superbas beat the Doves 6-3 in 13 innings. Cale Bernard homered in the 12th to take the lead but a Bob Jennings error allowed Boston to tie it back up. As unusual as an extra-inning home run is, Brooklyn got a second one as Tony Evans hit a pinch hit homer in the 13th to put the game away as the Superbas won their 9th in a row. WP - Sam Frock (5-1) Save - Christy Mathewson (2) LP - Luther Taylor (3-4) Record - 25-15
