Latest Update
Attached are the most recent playoff trees for P405 and D412, each with three OL teams left. Ozark, Shasta, and Terra Incognita will be headed to perfect next week, bringing the total back up to 20. The Friends List has been updated with the results known so far.
Still no results for G308, unless Magus can get the New York statistician to pull the duty. I'll check back in a few hours to see if I can get up the final crown and the Wrap Up. |

Checking in to see what's new.... my 2 team are still in but I'm definitely not checking them as often. However, I did see that Annandale is in the playoffs for 11 of the 12 years they've been in Diamond, and Greg Maddux has lost G5 in the division series for .... I think the 3rd year in a row. So some things never change!
I think the end of the World Series is a sign that my season is pretty much over. I'm not going to do much more in PT20 other than let my teams cruise on 90% autopilot. But I did want to say it's been great to be a part of the league. Thanks to all the people who produced standings week by week. Thanks to all the fun interaction in this thread. Special thanks to Bottom Of The Sixth for the league formation - I will definitely participate next year if he decides to do something similar. I know the game isn't perfect but I still like it a lot, as I really enjoy taking a team from its inception and building it into the club you envision. And who knows, maybe by next year they'll have tournaments done! I will pop in now and then but who knows when.... take care all. It was great to meet everyone and I hope to see you next season! |

Philadelphia will be promoted from Gold A. Below are the final Gold A standings. Tacoma picks up the crown, with Arkham, Chi-Town, and Frankenthal all in a tightly-knit pack for the runner-up position. Down at the bottom, the New York Patriots were, as usual, completely and utterly useless.
Also, in OL-alumni news, Steelport lost in their first attempt to get to a Perfect world series, losing in 7 to the 9-time PL champions Washington LyinCheatinSenators. Last edited by Magus978; 11-03-2019 at 08:06 PM. |

Road Dogs dominate Silver 274
Hey, look! OL still happens at lower levels!
And the Asheboro Road Dogs were the best OL team in Silver for 2050, with the Roadrunners close behind. The Bluffton Boomerangs return to Bronze next season, while the Roadrunners advance to Gold. The three other OL teams continue in Silver. The Roadrunners are currently tied 1-1 in the S274 Silver Level Series.

The Wrap Up
I guess it's for real this time. As I said earlier, I'll be hanging in, but only on Sunday mornings. It's been great to meet such a wonderful bunch of folks in Our League. Thanks, Chad! Just checked, and Fargo topped Virginia in the P405 Series, 4-1, so I should have the last All Time standings up in about 15 minutes.

And a Trio of Interesting Sorts of the Data
Just for grins. Couldn't get the crown totals to sort correctly, so you'll have to count them if you're curious.

Quite a battle with Silver Lake and I'm surprised I beat Wild Bunch in the WC game. My seasons usually go, play .600+ ball but finish second, lose WC game. Hope to see you soon for a rematch. I just looked and my Everett team lost the Diamond WS in 6 games. I friended them with the Knights so maybe they occupy a space in Perfect OL to keep a whale out. |

Looks like the two Gold leagues from last year have merged back into one, so I guess I'll stick around since we'll have enough games to qualify.

Heh, three of my 4 teams are all in the same conference, and it's my 3 most successful ones. This is the definitive year to figure out which is the best.

news from out in the wild....
Waffletown used a red-hot start (17-9 in April) and an even hotter finish (21-9 in Sep/Oct with a 12 game winning streak in the mix) to finish at 91-71 and claim the top wild card spot in the P411 post season. O'Fallon went down to the wire, but lost game 163 to miss the G315 playoffs by that one single game. hope all is well in OL land... good luck to any who made the post season. edit: Syrups won their WC game and the LDS (3 to 2), but went down in flames in the LCS 0-4 Last edited by stl jason; 11-10-2019 at 07:16 PM. |

For those who may be interested, Mudville Muffins got regulated from Diamond Level, after two seasons, and will be moving back into the Gold Level ranks starting tomorrow.
