Fantasy question for all
Have any of you emptied all of the MLB teams and let the OOTP AI fantasy pick every team then just went with it? Like you let the AI pick the entire MLB and you were going to GM and/or manage your team no matter who was on the roster?
Just an idea that popped in my head to maybe try and wondered if any of you had thought of it before me. If you did, how did it turn out? |

I've never done this but I am interested enough in the idea to bump the thread and see if anyone who has will relate their experiences.

It's entertaining to do that. Add in the concept of every-time-you-win-the-Series-you-take-over-the-worst-team-in-baseball and you're in for a wild ride through history!

I play historical and whenever I start a new league I do this. Playing historical you have to much of an edge in the initial draft IMO.

I did this once to see who the AI would place where and I was to see Juan Soto with my Royals! The Royals won the Central and lost to the Rays in the Division Series.
I think this could be pretty challenging to do. You have to play the cards you're dealt. |

I do this periodically. I do not sun a league for 20 years, usually just for a few years and I like to play with different setups.
Part of the reason I like the fantasy draft is that if I play standard MLB, I end up wanting to run my Reds and that can be very depressing! With the fantasy draft, I feel less compelled to manage the Reds and I can pick a player I want to have on my team, and grab that job!
