Montreal did make some head way the last 20 games. Improving in just about all areas except shot blocking. The offense has slightly improved as has the defense. I still think I will need to add some offense at the deadline. Possibly a goal scoring forward.

Can't expect much more here from the Wilf Nestor. He has likely another 16 starts left this season as we have 6 back to backs in the final 22 games. He is 11 wins shy of his career high 39.

We could certainly use a goal scorer and some help with the PP. Only Riley Callander and Josef Kramar are on pace for 20 goals this season. Only Riley Callander is on pace for 50 points. Montreal will demote Petr Sucharda and Jakob Alexsson and promote Andrew Walsh and Ralph Blaney. The 21 year old Walsh has 8 goals and 20 points with 32 PIMs in 22 AHL games. The 34 year old Blaney has 6 goals and 20 points with 34 PIMs in 41 AHL games.
