Question about minor league rosters

Hey there, I just got the game and looking forward to playing it. Been a lot of years since I played OOTP Baseball. Anyway, here is my question:

When I created my first game and went to look at my farm system, none of my minor leaguers have any statistics for 2021 unless they played some games in MLB. If they played in MLB, they have stats from the big leagues, but no AAA, AA, etc. Is that normal?

I assume you mean a Live Start so you are starting on the current date (or at least in the current off-season)?

If that is the case then, yes that is normal. The Live Start does not have minor league statistics for the 2021 season...just team records.
