Is this really necessary?

I don't play OOTP for hidden political easter eggs. I'm pretty disappointed in whoever thought this was ok to add.

Maybe someone among the developers is a Bridge player?

Can't tell if this post is serious or tongue and cheek, but for the benefit of others who may not be aware...

Before he was president, "No Trump" was just a possible bid in a hand of Bridge, usually meaning you had aces or high cards in every suit. I'm thinking the nickname is more likely a reference to his "having a good hand" at baseball and not a reference to his political views.

Although with bidding conventions, bidding "No Trump" can also mean something completely different to his partner. Maybe he's just an avid bridge player.

Or maybe ... he can't stand Judd Trump, the snooker player.

Sometimes people seem like they want to throw a fuss for throwing a fuss's sake.

'No trump' is a term from the card game bridge, which itself is about the same age as baseball. It's not dumb.

Yes every one please say the exact same thing, you do it soo much better...

I'm hardly the first person to post about a nickname that has a double meaning. So lay off. Imagine the complaints if there was a nickname "Gay Man". It only means happy, right? It's a dumb nickname.

He admitted his mistake. No reason to keep jumping on him. jpeters is one of the better and more helpful posters on here. He's not trolling.

"No Trump" is also usually a bad hand in Euchre. Using the nickname "No Trump" when referring to someone in this instance would mean that he has no luck.

Yeah, we usually try to stay out of politics, so this nickname has a controversial tone to it in current times I suppose.

Fun fact, the screenshot is from a league in 2145, and I am pretty sure in that year "No Trump" is back to its original (card game) meaning as humanity has developed further.
