Does the game come with historic logos as well? If I start in the early 1900's will the right logo show up for each team?

For MLB teams, yes. For minor league teams, no.

On-screen hints that are relevant to your league. Where before the game displayed trivia and other tidbits from real world baseball while it set up new games and performed other tasks, now OOTP uses information from your current game. For example, perhaps a player in your league hit for the cycle in consecutive games.

As I play out my games this is something I've only recently noticed wth OOTP16. The game was saving and up came a tidbit saying one of my players broke the single game record for strikeouts on so and so date.

A really cool touch, albeit one to remind how bad my SS is!

I'm confused. If there is a MLBPA license, why not just use actual player photos and not face gen?

Defensive shifts...I had a thought.

So my understanding is that players (in-game) are in a zone and the ball is hit into a zone. The defensive rating is then used to judge whether the player can get to the ball in that zone.

Now, how awesome would it be if you could manually adjust the player's position on the field (zone) instead of just using the "corners in" or what not. Could play with some crazy defenses risking it all (move a 2nd basemen over toward 2nd base and sending the SS out into shallow center or something).

Would be cool, I'd think!

Because if you trade a player, he's "wearing" the wrong uniform. OOTP used to use real pictures (I guess you still can) but it breaks reality to some degree.

Thanks. I usually use a downloaded file for player faces anyway. Makes it look better. The FaceGen looks too cartoonish to me.
