Trivial suggestion...

"Attendance Info" in the Front Office screen has years decline as you move from left to right. That is, the headers are "2022 2021."

Elsewhere on the Front Office screen years increase as you move left to right, such as "YTD Projected" and in the graphs.

I wonder Attendance Info might be changed so that years also increase. That is, the headers would be "2021 2022."

Coda: I wasn't sure I would buy this year but you've now got me with this new RTR. Money soon to head your way. Darn you!

That was an entertaining read. I could envision those conversations in my head, and I was laughing the whole way, while still learning about the new Owner/Manager/Financial system. Props to the writer on this one.

Excellent work! Loved the conversations! I'd hate to be the GM for that team, that guy's like a George Seinbrenner 2.0 but with lighter pockets!

Good life advice honestly.

That was a good read. This is an aspect of the new release that really has me excited. In all my years playing this game, I've never just taken on an available role to see how successful I could be. I've always just done the GM for my favorite team or a fictional team and tried to build a dynasty. This year I think I'm going to roll the dice. Maybe I'll get lucky and won't get this guy as the owner, but would be fun to see how long I could keep my job.

I'm really looking forward to these changes. As always, the next edition of this great game pulls me in again.

Quick question -- I plan still to manage most things for my franchise but I would like to see recommendations from many sources. Is it possible to get suggestions from others for things I will control? For example, can I get suggestions from my minor league managers about signing/releasing players? Or from my assistant GM regarding setting ticket process?

I'm really looking forward to the mini challenges laid out by the owner. Especially when they are at odds with what I want to accomplish as a gm. Think of them as house rules.

Please tell me that wasn't modified in any way, and "Don't suck completely" is a possible Owner Goal, because that's hilarious.

Really can't wait for this. I'm getting antsy.

Very nice. Should be interesting to more acutely feel the pressures of different personalities butting heads a bit.

(Also - nice shield, Amsterdam.)

small request

Would it be possible to separate out who is responsible for hiring/firing major league vs minor league coaching personnel? I like to control the coaching staff on my major league team, but dealing with all the minor league teams is too micro-managey for my tastes, and I often end up accidentally leaving minor league positions vacant when someone retires and I'm not paying attention.

Wow, I just hopped over here from reading the newsletter. There are some nuggets of improvement depicted here if you look carefully at the screen prints. Sometimes more is more and sometimes less is more.

Also, kudos to Mr. Rodriguez for his entertaining style of writing. With the exception of "sucking the roe from a still-writhing shad," of course.

Does it really say as a task "don't suck completely?" cause what if you only partially suck? I mean then did I suck completely or only partially suck. And what if I totally and unequivicobally suck? is that completely sucking or just sucking to part of the max and not completely?

Please clarify~!
