UBL league has opening
A long-time league currently has one opening, the Minnesota Twins. Although the Twins are open, several existing owners have volunteered to move (NYM or PHI, so you can choose those as well). We have just switched to v14 and the league has been going for over 10 years (we are in 2051). All 3 teams are in good shape, though the Twins owner thought it would be great to cut 40M worth of contracts when he was 10M over budget, so we will have to wipe the debt clean.
The league is very active with several beta-testers on board, and a few writers. The league is capped at 100M, we don't have too many crazy rules (mandatory buyouts of team options and some other ones are necessary). I really can't think of too much to add except that we have an amazing community, involved GMs, and all the teams are in decent shape. League Home Twins, Phillies, or Mets.

One of those veteran leagues that is worth investing your time in joining whether you are new to online leagues or a veteran. A great bunch of GM's and the commishes are as consistent as they come. Great league.

Sorry for the delay. We don't use scouts/coaches, all the same teams that existed in 2003 except Detroit was relocated to Las Vegas a while ago. Cap is set to 100M and we use FA comp. No extensions to players in arbitration, no trading picks, no trading players you just signed or traded for (no flipping) until June 15th, all options include mandatory 20% buyouts (since the game doesn't understand that a 20M option to a 37 year old is trash), and some other small ones. After some team shuffling, the Mariners are the open team currently. They have a great core and some top players in the minors if you want to go for it.

Sorry if it wasn't clear, the Mariners are now open. A friend of an owner decided he wasn't that in to the game anymore. Seattle is looking really good with lots of young talent on the squad and more ready to come up. They are 5 behind the division lead and about 2 behind the Wild Card.
