Aurelio "Wild Thing" Lopez

I was playing out a game in an All Time Greats league I have and Aurelio Lopez threw 3 wild pitches in an inning. Pretty crazy. Then I checked his stats and discovered he's thrown 12 in 10.1 innings on the season. Is something broken?

A better question is, why is he on an All-Time Greats team in the first place?

depends on who else is in the bullpen, but I don't think its that far fetched. He had some good seasons in the early mid 80s. Plus its not like the Tigers have had a history of great bullpens.

If it's Bill Freehan, he was as good as it gets in the AL back in the 60s.

Check the League Settings where the modifiers are - there's usually numbers for things like wild pitches, passed balls, outfield assists, etc. - if somehow the number for wild pitches got wildly above 1.000, it might not just be this guy that's having too many wild pitches.

I have this problem with batters getting hit by pitches. Since I play out every game, I've seen a couple of guys get hit like 10 times in 10 games.

It all evens out in the end, but can have a weird way of getting there.
