Only setting I changed was the spring training roster down to 40. I love the game too but I can't blindly be a Fanboi and say I changed "1" setting and justify the whole system come crashing down where its unplayable and I lose everything. If this was Madden for instance - we would be talking about how there in no alternative etc. and that's why this happens....

Guys - I am just curious - how long does it take in general for the techs to start working on tickets? Just wondering.

We often won't start working on them until the next business day, which for me would have been Tuesday (Monday is a holiday). You're lucky that I was interested enough and had a bit of spare time today. Sent you the fixed file - really not sure how your league got into the state that it did.

You guys always amaze me with your customer service. That's the number one reason I keep buying--along with the fact that it's a great game.

OOTP development is 2nd to none in customer service. They amazingly find issues rather quickly. You would be amazed at the turn around. Usually those in the software business it would take quite some time.

Awesome that Matt and team were able to fix this weird issue. I'd love to understand technically what happened but it would probably be beyond me.
According to the OP, the only setting changed was the ST roster size after he attempted to advance to the regular season and it wouldn't. He said he changed the size and then it worked. What if it didn't actually advance, though? What if something got munged up and it just continued with the regular season schedule but still in Spring Training mode because of the roster limit? |

Guys - just WOW! Matt and team fixed the problem. It was a total mess and now it's back like new. Even the problems with the standings worked themselves out. Beyond gracious. I would like to change the thread to "Far From Done." I apologize I was such a baby about this - I have fallen in love with OOTP...I really have. I couldnt believe the thought of the loss. However, backups will be used as I have been coached beginning of season, midseason and end of season. Thank you everyone. I am just blown away. Now please excuse me as a I wipe all of this egg off of my face : )

As above; although I am a relative novice, this game, the people in these forums, and the customer service provided by the developers have convinced me I will be a life long customer. Not to mention the almost infinite number of ways to configure a league.
