New Feature - Playoff Fixture Editor

Hey folks,

I know that a sore spot in OOTP has always been correct seeding & tiebreaking for the playoffs. This is a very complex topic, and with all the possible options in the game, I would never be able to have the game function perfectly in this are. However, there is a solution to this problem in OOTP 15

I have added two useful features:
1) Leagues with no playoffs will now automatically play tie-breakers if the teams tie for the top spot in a sub league.
2) A playoff fixture editor, which allows you to do two things:
a) Reset the league to regular season mode in case OOTP did not broke ties up correctly and you want to schdule tiebreaker games manually after the league already advanced to playoff mode.
b) Alter the series matchups of the current playoff round, including assigning byes. That way, you can make sure that the playoffs are always played exactly as you want it.

Will the ability to reset to regular season mode allow us to cancel a scheduled playoff game completely? In the past when playing no playoff leagues, if two teams tied for 2nd place OOTP would schedule a meaningless playoff game to break the tie.

OOTP14 does not do that.

Are you 100% sure? I'm at work so I can't test it, but I'm almost sure it does. Maybe I'm thinking 13 though.

Resetting to season erases the entire playoff schedule, yes.

Well, I've been one of the fence sitters when it comes to 15. Humpty Dumpty just fell off the fence. This fix and the random debut change makes it too much to pass up. Sign me up.
