Does Any One Play A Fictional League With No Draft
Does anyone here play using a fictional league, and turn off the draft so all rookies are imported as free agents? I have tried to do this in every way possible and it just never turns out right. If you do this then the game also creates free agents that are four or five stars and I dont want that.
If you create another league then it also makes too good of players. I want to create a realistic rookie class but be able to sign them as free agents. Please help |

One possibility would be to select the "create fictional players" menu item under "actions" on the free agent screen. This is available in commissioner mode and allows you to create a batch of players that go into the free agent pool. If you experimented with this you could probably get the mix of players you're looking for.

I do this with my 19th century saves.
Step 1: In rules disable automatic creation of free agents. Step 2: On the free agent page you can create as many players as you need. This way every player that comes into the league is by your own doing. I do it the first day of the offseason because that is when OOTP would create free agents if the option was enabled. However, you can do it whenever you feel it is appropriate. |
