Game sound in 3D mode has disappeared
Not getting any sounds from the crowd, the bat, or the umpire as of the latest patch. The slight crowd ambient noise is still there, but that's about it. Anybody have any idea what might be causing it?
The bat sound still is there in broadcast mode, but nothing else is. Very bizarre.

I have the same issue also. I am on a PC, no problems until latest patch. I just play anyway, but sure miss the umpire, crack of bat sounds. I am wary or uninstall/install as game plays fine, but hopefully a fix can be found. Thanks.

I am not able to reproduce this here. Both on Mac and PC the sound works as it should.

PC.
Problem was entirely on my end. I'm going to guess something sound drivers related. Restarting fixed it.

Did you restart your season, or just shut down computer and restart as I have tried that. Maybe tonight I will unplug computer then restart and see if that is the ticket. Any advice will be appreciated.

Computer. I'd had it on for over a week, while only putting it to sleep, and at some point the Sound Drivers crashed.

I have tried everything I can think off, but no dice. Oh well, maybe I can roll back to patch before this one, have to figure out where that might be. Thanks for your advice.

I'm experiencing the same thing, just since the latest patch. Also on PC.

Does the sound work for other programs on the PC? Recently, I discovered- and I am not saying OOTP is related to this at all -that my default player was changed to Headphones instead of Speakers. FWIW
Also, if it is just the game, may try disabling sound. Close game down. Restart game and enable Sound.

New patch didn't solve my problem. Yes, I have a lot of sport sims and the sound is fine on all of them, at least I don't recall having any issues. What is strange is until the last patch, sound was working good. Its not a game breaker, just a little annoyance playing games out in 3D. The sound works in broadcast mode. I did try to the disable/enable sound but no go. Thanks for your help.

The other thing to check is if the sound files are still there and didn't get corrupted for whatever reason. They should be in the data/sounds folder in your game. Then make sure the various "crowd" sounds are still there and working.

For some strange reason, my in game sounds are working again. I did nothing to any files ect. It sure is nice hearing the crack of the bat and the strikeeeee 3 sound when your closer is mowing the down the side. I am hoping the fix is permanent. Fingers crossed. Thanks

I'm now getting this.
Did you guys discover anything that would be causing it?

Microsoft just issued a big update on windows 10. Also Nvidia just updated their drivers. If you use those make sure they are updated. That should take care of it.
