Thank you. Closer to London than Windsor for me. Love the Leafs and hate the Red Wings so if I was a few years younger likely would have been a Jays fan but really became a Tigers fan when I was 11 in 1976 Fidrych had his big year and there were no Jays at that point. By 1978 or 1979 Tram was my favourite player and the tie in to the Tigers was set.

I didn't mind the Jays until the mid-to-late 1980s when they got good. By that point I went away to school in Niagara area and had to listen to all of the Jays fans that suddenly climbed on the Toronto bandwagon during those pennant races, particularly 85 and 87...nothing better than the season ending sweep of Toronto to win the division in 1987. Sucks it cost us John Smoltz but gotta love Doyle Alexander going 7 or 8 and 0 down the stretch.

I also agree to exclude the Rookie of the Month cards, no brainer.

The Cowboys were having a rough year in Gold .334, but don't look now -- they're on a 10 game win streak. Will probably lose the next game cause I said this. We had the worst luck in the league according to pythagorean run differential, but I guess luck has a way of evening out. Fought back from about 7 games back to now lead the division.

All of the Our League teams are doing well in Gold and having winning records.

Gold is where the action is at. Great level for f2p players.

Given that there's lots of new blood, which is great, I don't feel ashamed to add a 2nd team to the mix. The Victoria Vikings are currently in the entry pool, and will join Iron next week. Sanguine continued to set the pace by a comfortable margin in S278, while the pack chasing them tightened up. These are the only available standings as I write.

Wow! my Classics have almost the exact same team but are winning much more with their new park factors and strategy. Or maybe we are just on one of those hot streaks.

I live in fear that Arkham will win the wildcard and then do well in October. If I understand correctly, that will shunt them into the higher bracket next year, nicht wahr? Worst thing that could happen to them - they aren't ready for that.

An idea for old guys (like me) -

There are so many teams in Our League now (which is great!) that I often have trouble remembering if some of the teams on the upcoming schedule are ours or not. So, what do people think about adding a "+" to the end of all our team abbreviations? So, Arkham would be ARK+ and Salem would be SLM+

Then, when you look at the schedule, it will be obvious how many upcoming matches are "the good ones".

Does this idea have merit for anyone else?

The Boomerangs are in no danger of promotion, but I would prefer not to be relegated either.

Did some crosstraining in the outfield, and may look to an upgrade at my utility infield, as I doubt I can make a serious investment this year, unless I get some luck out of a challenge pack.
