How many is too many?

75 shots on goal and another 16 missed. I just bought FHM2 a few days ago and I am only a few games into the season. Those numbers seem high right?

Well you completely dominated play, and by the looks of it the Bruins were taking some Dumb penalties. I mean, you were 6 for 6 on the Power Play.

Play a few more games.

I have played about 14 games so far. This is definitely the statistical anomaly. As an Avs fan, I am used to them being severely out shot. But this was a crazy game.

Well it can and has happened. Just shouldn't happen a lot.

As you will see (or if you watched our stream last night), we had 66 shots on net and still didn't win...

The highest total (modern times) is 70 saves on 73 shots by Quebec's Ron Tugnutt in a 3-3 tie at Boston on March 21, 1991. Since then, the most saves by a goaltender is the 58 made by the Islanders' Dwayne Roloson in a 4-3 overtime win at Toronto. Way too many if you ask me

By the way, 75 is too many and 11 is too few. Something is amiss here

Ran a test. I was wrong. SOGs per game looks good.

I have had one game before where my team put up around 50+ shots and won easily. It's a very rare occurrence but it can happen once in a while. But most games it will be more of a "normal" amount.
