Salary floor issue
I have a problem with the salary cap. I'm currently below the sakary floor, and can't get any further. I've tried to move some players up and down, but my minor league players all have low caphits.
I've played 79 games, so i cant trade or sign free agents at the moment. Can someone help with this? Is there any way to get around this? And by the way, at the end of the season, i thought that there was no roster limit for the NHL-teams? Am i wrong? |

Do you have a high paid player on injury reserve? Can you remove him from the IR and place him on your active roster?
Unfortunately if you can't, the only other option I can think of is resigning as GM, simulate a day, then take over the team again. The AI will most likely correct the issue at that point and you will be able to continue. My understanding is that after the trade deadline, teams can only call up 4 of the same players from the minors. I don't think this is in the game but I could be wrong. I was under the impression that there is a roster limit in the NHL today during playoffs but it is expanded (27?).
