Window Size
Just wondering if there is any way to play in windowed mode while being able to see the entire screen? I've tried every size listed within the game main menu and I always end up with part of the bottom of the screen cut off from view. I like having it in window mode so I can browse the internet while the game loads day-to-day but I like being able to see everything and can only do so in full screen mode. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out.

Screen Resolution
The tried and true method is to know your monitor/screens native resolution and choose the next resolution smaller... however with my 32" TV screen it never quite works out that way and I always have to manually adjust the screen upwards around 2" to center it on the screen. I've gotten so used to it that I hardly think about it anymore since it's not only this game I have to do it for.
Hope it helps! |

Are you on a Mac or PC?
If PC, make sure that the resolution in the game matches your computer screen resolution.

The minimum size for the game is 1024x768 but that excludes the windows frame. Thats the reason you have to go fullscreen when hight and/or width are minimum.

I just went looking and found in one of my other games a alternate way of correcting the screen size for laptops. However there is a catch - in order to work it requires command lines px0000 py0000 to be written into the command line switches and I don't know if that has been done with this game. The advantage is you can put nearly any vertical or horizontal value in and the screen will accept it The bad is you then potentially get some really weird looking screens and have to go back to the command lines to change them to a readable size. Just so you know my laptop is px1600 and py900 Maybe one of the mods or developers can answer if the command line switches are modifiable in this game. There are plenty of good reasons they wouldn't do this - so don't get your hopes up too high. *** also I just saw the pix, I did not put the - sign in front of px and py so they should look like this -px1600 space -py900 *** Third option - As I'm reading this I see your recommended screen resolution is 1366 X 768 - try 1200 X 768 or 1200 X 800 resolutions, as Sebastian noted the games minimum resolution is 1024 X 768. The py768 changing to 800 will affect the vertical width and the px1200 will be the horizontal height which puts you between the minimum resolution and your laptops recommended resolution.
