Help me with team names and logos please!

Hey all, I'm starting up a solo game where I've created a second major league of baseball. I've figured out the market sizes I'll use for the cities (they are scaled a big higher than MLB cities, as I want to treat my league like it will eventually over take the MLB, I'm going to be cutting a few players from each MLB team to enter into the inaugural draft of the new league. Still in the process of planning everything else out. Not sure how I'll determine the fan interest/loyalty/cash and budget and all of the financials, anyone have any advice?

Also, I haven't named any of the teams yet. If anyone has logos for any of these cities that they want to share, I'll name the team to fit the logos

Some cities are way too small in real life to support a team, and some geographically don't make complete sense. Also my spreadsheet has some errors, but it wasn't created to be shared.. lol

Bangor, Maine, has had a couple of minor league teams in the past, referencing the region's lumber and papermaking industry: the Blue Ox and the Lumberjacks. (Just avoid something like Lobsters...too easy. )

Also, if you don't want to handicap your small market teams too much you could use their "metro area" population instead of city population. So Bangor's metro pop would go up to about 154K. Still nowhere near, say, Mexico City, but not as tiny either.

Good luck!

Some historical/traditional nicknames to consider:

Mexico City: Red Devils/Diablos Rojos/Diablos/Reds
Oklahoma City: 89ers (the year Oklahoma was founded)
Las Vegas: Stars or Wranglers. Could also go the Gamblers route
New Orleans: Historically the Pelicans (Louisiana state bird)
Charlotte: Historically the Hornets. Named after Queen Charlotte of Mecklenberg, so Royals could work

I'll post more ideas later.
