Who dat, Who dat, Who dat think they gonna beat them Bengals...
Actually, I think it's smoke and mirrors. I haven't seen the rest of their schedule, but I still expect them to: a) lose to the Browns b) go 6-10 |

They have the Raiders, Lions, Chiefs, and Jets, amongst others.

ANd they still got the Browns a 2nd time. Yeah, they almost lost, but you gotta think as awful as the Browns have been that they really have the potential 8-8.

This is how I see the season should go for them:
10/18 home vs Houston - W 10/25 home vs Chicago - L 11/8 home vs Baltimore - W 11/15 away vs Pittsburg - L 11/22 away vs Oakland - W 11/29 home vs Cleveland - W 12/6 home vs Detroit - W 12/13 away vs Minnesota - L 12/20 away vs San Diego - L 12/27 home vs Kansas City - W 1/3 away vs New York - L Final record of 10-6 and a playoff spot. However, two of those games they should win they'll probably lose and one of those games they should lose they'll probably win. So final record of 9-7 with shaky playoff hopes. |

The final score was not indicative of how badly the Bengals beat the Ravens. The Ravens were whipped.

The only bad news was losing Chris Henry for the season, at least it was injury related and not breaking the law related.

The Bengals should have 10 wins by the time they face Minnesota. They better not fall asleep on Oakland, Cleveland or Detroit like they did against Houston (though Houston is turning out to be pretty decent).
Rumors are that Larry Johnson is going to become Cedric Benson's substitute while Benson is down. Bernard Scott looked pretty decent against Pittsburgh in relief but signing Johnson is pretty low risk. Sources: Larry Johnson expects to sign with Cincinnati Bengals - ESPN |

Bengals defense is very good. How did that happen?
Palmer looks back to normal as well which makes them a very dangerous team. Beating Baltimore and Pitt twice in the same year is no small feat. |

They got lucky having the Lions this weekend, any other team they would have lost that game too with no offense at all... losing TJ and then C henry has really hurt the passing game this year and the Lions stuffed Cincy's running game

What a total and absolute farce this is. Bengals should be penalised for this crap. Doesn't matter that they're already in the playoffs. You shouldn't be allowed to do what they're doing and not suffer some sort of consequence. They are spitting in the faces of the football gods and I hope they don't get a massive dose of karma next weekend.

I just feel bad for the Texans. Atleast make it look like you are trying.

I don't care about the Texans. If they had won one more game they'd be in, so that's there fault. I'm just worried about taking a dog turd of a performance like this into the playoffs. They can say it doesn't matter as much as they want, but they're taking a 1-3 finish into the playoffs and that's not good.
Amazing stat: Through the first twelve games the Colts, Saints and Bengals were a combined 33-3. Through the last four ... 4-8. |
