Editing Draft Classes
Is there a way to find the players that are in the pre programmed draft classes via a filter? There was an amazing quickstart put out with High School and College Feeder setup and I'd like to put those players on their real teams to track them statistically. The only way I currently know how to do this is to search them one by one. Is there another quicker way to find all these players?

real players? not 100% sure of context, so a few things listed...
you could use a throwaway league each year and export the draft classes until you see fictional players. list of names and more (throw-away league) an inaugural draft, if like in the past, should dump them all into the draft pool. an age filter would probably catch most of them. could export that list for future use. import historical player will work once they are mlb players -- assumes you'd be importing last year's league into the new release each time, otherwise you'd outpace real-time. if players are exported from a different league, you can't just import them with their current player id -- cannot create new players via import. can only replace existing players. either historic player import is necessary to use or re-use existing player id's and copy/pasting info from players exported from other leagues. at which point they can be imported into game and not corrupt the db. look into manual about importing players. you can create a text file with historic players for a mass import, but not sure if you can do that with amatuer real players or even fictional? you may find a better in-game function that will help you. Without the pool being announced you only export a blank list. I wish one day we'll be able to export and edit all the hidden players and people in the game. |

If you're using the MLB quickstart as a base, it includes at least 4 years of draft classes.
You'll need to trigger the draft pool manually early each of the first 4 years via Events in the News section for MLB. If you do this on Jan 1 set the Draft Pool reveal date for MLB to be 1/2/18 and the following day the "Draft Pool" tab within Transactions for MLB will be enabled, displaying 900 ish 2018 REAL players. You can manually move those to the real teams in your HS / college leagues. |

Also if could sign all Draft Picks then could manually do this year's Draft and get the Draft Picks on the Team that Drafted them this week.
