I need some logo help

it looks like I need some logo help. I have a long standing league which I am changing the logos (after 150 years - about time)

I am using Gimp to alter logos (I really do not know what I am doing but am giving it a try) but did not do something right because OOTP smushed my logo after I put it into the game.

Could someone please "correct" my logo for me?

Make sure your logos are square: X pixels by X pixels, not X by Y.

OOTP's default size is 150x150, but you can size it differently and OOTP will squish it down. I've seen a bunch of logos at 300x300 and that seems to work reasonably well, too. Haven't seen many much bigger than that.

Also, GIMP isn't vector based, so you will lose resolution on resizing. If you want to be able to resize an image and not lose image quality, you should use a vector based program like InkScape or Illustrator.

Thanks for the advise. I was just thinking how I was going to become better with the resizing. Do you know if either InkScape or Illustrator are for Mac????
