Eastside Hockey Manager is returning. How will FHM respond?

Just wondering what new features are being implemented to make FHM an attractive alternative to the original Eastside Hockey Manager which is returning to Windows soon.

I think it will be a competitor for PC Hockey Simulators. They are both available on steam, so whenever someone will search for a hockey game on steam, both will probably come up.

EHM discussion is to be kept in the below thread. Thanks.

As I wrote before: we look forward to a friendly competition with EHM. We will not change our plans with FHM to avoid the comparison with EHM, instead we do our best to make FHM 2 better and better with every update. Then the user can decide which game he likes more and play it (or play both of course). So the user is in a win-win situation and IMO that is the best part (just look at EA Sports's NHL Hockey, would be great if they get some competition someday ).

The return did not change much for us, people played EHM 2007 before, now they play EHM:EA. And soon they can play FHM 2 if they want. I mean, it is great for the user to have two games to choose from (or play both).

Now the user can directly compare the speed or the sim results or the AI or available leagues or specific features and choose the right game for him (or of course play both). Both games will push the development to the limits to make sure not to fall behind, the result will be two great games over time that get better and better. Good times for hockey sim junkies I would say.
