So the Leafs be it in reality or in a simulation CANNOT get a break, I mean I had A fantastic season. Guys really racked up some points and took points late in the game to end up 1st place with 100 something points. Reimer was injured for 11 months so we had to rely on one guy the whole year.

Playoffs come and Bernier knocks em all down. Just a monster in net.

Out of nowhere hes down for 10 days AI sent him to the reserve so we had to grind out some games against Boston with AHL and ECHL Goalies.

Then We go for Columbus adn the game must just hate me. Berneir wont play until game 5 of the series and the Backup who from the ECHL manages to string together some fantastic performances.

He goes down with a sprained thumb and his playoffs are over. Reimer is gone for months, berneir cant be activated and I got one guys with 1 playoff loss in his career spearheading the leading NHL teams hopes for a cup. Not only that but the leafs cup hopes. Phoenix could have this happen and no one cares but Toronto would flip for a decade at least if we made it that far beat Boston and then collapsed on the doorstep of a cup. Biggs the Winger goes in as backup so if my current goalie goes down its going to be a tremendous loss.

What in the World happened. We made it. The series is close I thought 99% that if we got the starter back we would wipe out Columbus no problem...Hell if a minor leaguer can stand tall against the snipers then a guy with 35+ wins would just be a brick wall....and we lost in 7 Bernier Folded, guys didn't crash the net. No shots when we needed them. We got beat simple as that.
At least the young guys got some valuable playing time and Biggs **** himself a little bit thinking he might be starting with another injury.

Time to renovate and replace a ton of player. Move some money around and start anew.
