Repeated crashes

I have set my team to be completely managed by my assistant except for transactions and drafting players. When I go to "play game" the game loads (seemingly) as normal. The rink screen comes up. Nothing happens. When I click the "Play" button the game crashes to the desktop.

I have tried this now in two separate leagues that I created and I have had the same problem with both. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any thoughts?

I'm bumping this. . .

I have started three games now. The first two I let my assistant run the team, and now a third game I ran the team. EACH TIME when I get to opening day and I click "play game" the game screen comes up, rink view and all. THen, when I click the "play" button to start the game the game crashes.

Is ANYONE else having this problem or is it isolated to me?

I think isolated, I would probably uninstall and do a fresh install.

Try reinstalling the patch. It might fix the issue.

Crashes in any game are usually a driver issue. make sure you have all drivers up to date. Keep in mind there may be drivers from your vendor that do not get updated via windows. If you have a MAC. I don't have any comment.
