ASBA Opening(s)!

Right now, the ASBA (American Simulation Baseball Association) has 1 opening for a new GM of the Miami Marlins. The ASBA is a modern, major league game that started in 2011 with default major league rosters of OOTP 12.

Miami needs a complete rebuild, as they are currently near the bottom of the NL East. They will also need a complete financial overhaul and their minor league system needs some work as well. The new GM for the Marlins will love a challenge!

However, any owner coming into the league will be working at least with a break-even budget, as I will edit the teams finances to do so.

The league has been running for 2 complete seasons and we are nearing the end of 2013. We use fairly standard rules, but scouting is turned ON (coaching is off) with ratings on the 1-20 scale with star ratings enabled and injuries are set to LOW (despite what the forums say).

One of the fun little extras we have in this league is our ASBA Winter League, which allows the GM to get extra evaluation time and extra development time in the offseason.

We are currently discussing switching to OOTP 13 for the 2014 season, so the preferred owner will be able to make the switch with us if and when it happens.

We have a great core of dedicated owners, most of whom have been around since the beginning who are active in the forums and writing articles.

ASBA is a great league. We need a couple long-term owners to make it even better!

The forums are very active and it's been a lot of fun!

Bump. Tigers have been filled. Still looking for a GM for Miami, and more spots probably coming available after the switch to OOTP 13
