At the trade deadline with my first expansion team in 2020. Need advice.
Hey everyone! I just started a 2020 game as the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. I'm in the AL West, and so far I am dominating. I'm in first place with two days to go until the trade deadline. Here's what my team looks like right now
= I signed Rendon and Ozuna in the offseason to boost my offense, traded for Bader, signed Cole, Bumgarner, and Ryu to boost my rotation, and the rest were all expansion draft picks. Thus far my offense has been led by Jurickson Profar, who is having an incredible breakout season with a slugging percentage of over .600, and Didi Gregorius, who is having a solid bounce back season. Unfortunately, Joc Pederson appears to be melting down. He's batting .240 with 6 homers and a .373. slugging percentage. In addition, Luke Voit is having a terrible year, only hitting .213 with a putrid .353 slugging percentage. Clint Frazier has had a solid year platooning with Yaz in right and supplanting Pederson at DH. He's only hitting .239, but he's hit 15 home runs and has a .453 slugging percentage. I want to make him my full time DH and trade Pederson and Voit for a new first baseman. I've got some solid pitching prospects down in the minors that I can throw in to any potential deal as well. Anyone have any ideas for some first basemen I should target? |

Not knowing the state of the other 1B in the league, the easiest option would be to eat the last two months of an expiring contract.
