Repeated "auto-save" folder error after numerous re-installs

I generally play PT, and upon exiting, I am now getting this message repeatedly, even after deleting files in the folder, or even completely uninstalling and re-installing the game. The first 2-3 times I play on a new install, things seem ok, but after 3-4 times going in and exiting, the dreaded message appears again. When this happens, I'm not able to view any box scores, with the message "the box score could not be downloaded! Please try again". The longer message when closing the game reads: "Error moving league files to the 'auto-save' folder! The auto-save function could not move one of more of the .dat files to the auto-save folder. Please delete the files in the auto-save folder manually to fix this problem."

I install my game to the default location now, though at the beginning (when I first got the game in April), I specified a different location because I was afraid it would try to install files to my OneDrive (Cloud) location - which I absolutely do NOT want to do.

How can I prevent this folder problem from coming up over and over?

Thanks!

NO HELP??? This morning, I reinstalled yet again. As always, I went into the game, then PT... and the third time I went into PT, as I was exiting, that dreaded

"Error moving league files to the 'auto-save' folder! The auto-save function could not move one of more of the .dat files to the auto-save folder. Please delete the files in the auto-save folder manually to fix this problem."

....came back. As of now, I still *CAN* view box scores, but it'll be a matter of time before it comes back and says it can't download box score. So WHICH folder do I need to delete files from? Is it under the longish folder that looks like \5d6ceb03f35e4ef04f4823dab.pt inside the C:\Program Files (x86)\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 20\data\saved_games\ folder?

Hey Marsh,

Just responded to your ticket but then found your 2nd post here. Yes, the long numbers and letters are your pt folders. There is an auto-save folder in there that you could clear and see if that resolves the issue. However, I highly doubt that will resolve the issue long term. My reply to your ticket has some more detailed explanation and a potential fix to try out. Let me know if that helps at all and we can try to get rid of this autosave error for you.

Thanks
Alex
