montoya, I was thinking, to have more value to your offer (not that their isn't enough already

), but waht about a writeup for new league owners as a ste-by-step for what they need to do to run a league and do the commish role?

Of course if you have that already, please disregard.

Actually, I am thinking to create a "Guide for commissioners" which includes some 'How-to's' but the technical nitty-gritty, with beginners, needs more of a personal approach, thus the live tutorials.

Btw, making a full pictorial "how to" for setting up online leagues may be a futile effort due to the multitude of different webhosts, tools and programs that exist. But I'm at least going to try to do a decent guide that 'would be' commissioners would be able to use to make a successful league or at least see what kinds of things to expect should they decide to start their own league.

When someone gets a site on AllSimBaseball, they are given the tools and programs that I recommend but I do all the setup work for them. All they have to do is meet me for an online live tutorial to see how to take care of things themselves.

Even for the web dummies they make it realy easy to run things. MLBsim been using this service for a few months and its been great. Now I should get off my arse and work on my html skills more to improve the site

Wow this seems to good to be true...So let me ask you this, If I go with this, it is strictly 7$ /month, and you can set it up to where I can use the games FTP , which has been my main problem for ever lol

$7 / month is the basic, lower for 6 months in advance...even lower for a year in advanced.

The game's FTP will run with ease.

This sounds like a great service for a great price. I already have my own web host, but your "How to Commish" page was very helpful to an OOTP newcomer.

I'm not sure this falls in the scope of your document, but I think a helpful addition would be a "best practices" for running an online league in regards to waivers, free agency, trades, etc. As a newcomer, it's somewhat confusing as to what can be done by your Owners in the game vs what needs to be done on the forums and processed by the Commish.

Again, this sounds like a great service. The price is about the same as what I pay for my webhost, which obviously doesn't come with all the extras that fmontaya is offering here.
