Historical DRAFT PICKS
Hi
Hoping this is simple.....Buffalo Sabres....my first pick in the draft in my first 2 years (Dionne, Schonfeld) BOTH are unable to be signed. I offer them what they want and they say NO....don't want to be a "none" in their role.....I switch their role, offer them more money, then they say it's an insult...….on and on and on....until they refuse to negotiate. I had to trade the rights of Marcel Dionne to get out of this mess. Please help.....hope this is fixable, really takes away from the game Thanks Chris Last edited by chrisvasey; 10-16-2018 at 08:17 PM. |

What roles did you give them?

started with NONE.....then tried other options based on the player, they wanted more $$$, then that offer turned into "I'd rather be NONE"......round and round until they won't negotiate.

Try meeting their demand to begin with to see the role they want, then make adjustments from there before making the first offer. Starting off with None as the role definitely won't make them happy, and it'll make subsequent negotiations harder.
