The AA Parrots went 3-3. The first place Archers handled my stuff in my only start as I labored through 8 innings giving up 11 hits and 9 runs (6 earned). Aveze won the game 9-2.

At the plate, five hits including 1 double as my average dropped to .396.

Le Diamant made a rare roster move in the trade market as they shipped out unhappy first base back up Alexander Pinon (.512 OPS) for 35 year olf middle reliever Daniel Chambon, formerly of the Expedition. He will be a free agent at the end of the season. The club thought some veteran presence in the dugout might help some of the younger players. I can see it.

Le Diamant went 2-4 on the week.

The month of June is right around the corner. A big time for weddings in many places. Here in Le Diamant, the celebration last night was for the big homer off the bat of 'rookie' third baseman.....you know his name...Herve DeLage. That put the kibosh on the Diamonds 3 game losing streak.

It will be a long shot for our parent team, the Diamonds, to make the post-season, but third place is a possibility. Here are the front page stats for Le Diamant.

Here is our home page for Le Vauclin. I finished up the month tailing off a bit with the bat, but my last start was a pretty good one. I appreciated the Player of the Game award. Realistically, most of the players don't pay a lot of attention to that one. Player of month carries more weight. We always notice who gets those awards.

Sebastion Cohen and Andres Perez received those awards in AA for May. Nice going, guys!

A 2-3 week for Le Diamant. The 'highlight' game was a wonderful 1-0 walk-off with 2 out in the bottom of the 9th. No surprise, Sebastian Vautier on the mound for the Diamonds.

Nice week for our team as we finished on a 4-0 run after dropping the first two games in Vauvert to the Sluggers. I lost one of those contests. Fortunately, my game to end the week was a stronger performance.

Just 4 games this week. We begin with a loss, but, a fine pitching effort from Marques (0 earned runs). Skip turns the ball over Antoine LeRoux (surgery last year) and he gets it done. My game up next. We win. Skip comes back with Antoine and the kid does it, again.

We are rated 12th in the league (last) in Starting Pitching, Relief Pitching, and Defense, but, is this the start of a new trend?

After the published box score the GM was on the phone to Benoit and Michel asking what the heck they are doing letting LeRoux toss 160 pitches. Seems no one had any answers other than some errors in tracking the pitches.

Benoit assured the GM that the matter has been addressed and it will never happen, again. I'd hate to think what might happen if LeRoux has some fallout from this outing.

It's no secret that the scouts have downgraded Antoine's chances of being an elite pitcher. But, I have a question for them, 'what is more important, their projections or the numbers he is posting?'

I mean you have to admire the heart and courage of Antoine because he is not a 6 inning pitcher guy. He's old school. Finishing what he started. Still, collectively the organization has to be smarter in his management.

Herve DeLage had a 3 run homer early in the week to jump start a 2 game win streak that evolved in a 5 straight W scenario. Great week for the parent team.

We played solid ball in the middle but unfortunately the beginning and end were bookends made of lost games.

It took just 3 games for the number one pick to graduate to AA. We welcome Cole Burke to the rotation.

Sadly, we said good-bye to Julien Marques. The 31 year old journeyman pitcher has decided to hang em up.

There is talk of moving me to AAA. Maybe a rumor. Hard to tell at this point. The club does not like to discuss roster moves until they are ready to announce.

Look at this kid. He's got heart. The whole organization is pulling for him. He's been nothing short of big time for our Parrots.

Just 17 but he looks like he's been in the system for 5 years. There isn't any question regarding his ability to be a star in the FBL. He just needs some time to develop for the top level. I like him as my catcher. Calls a very good game...always on top of the situation.

3-3 week for the Parrots. At 12 games back, I'm not sure we can catch the Vigilantes. They went 2-4 so we picked up one game.

The leagues #1 top prospect is displayed here. Le Diamant players take up 4 of the next 5 spots. Herve called me last night and wondered what I was doing being ranked in front of him. That has not happened before. I told him, "Don't look at me, I don't make out the ratings."
