changing from online to solo

After 10 real life years of playing I have closed my WWBL online league. I want to continue playing my team as a solo league, does aynone know what setting changes will I need to make so that the computer controled teams will make trade offers to me

Disable online mode, which I'm sure you've done.

Ensure the AI is controlling (full control) of all other teams.

Ensure you allow AI roster moves. I'd recommend hitting the "Run AI manager" button on all teams once after you set this just to be sure the AI is in fact making moves.

Check your trade settings in league setup.

I can't think of anything else, that should do it.

Maybe make a copy of your league file and run a test sim of a couple months to see if in fact you're getting trade offers, or are at least able to.

Sorry to hear your league is closing btw, it was one of the long running ones.

Thanks for the info! As for the league after 10 real life years it had run it's course and I needed a little break.

We will be back, probably in the next version around April with a new league, not sure yet if it will be the WWBL or something completely new. Thanks for the kind words about my league.

Sorry to open an old thread, but I had a similar question from a non-commissioner. I could not find this answer after searching the forums.

Is it possible to convert an online league file to a solo league that I was not a commissioner of? Is this possible? I'd like to continue an older league file and play out in solo mode.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Dola. Figured it out. Simply save as a quick start, then start new league with that quick start file. Now I have commish access, and can sim just like my old online league did, preserving history and watching the future unfold.

Love it!
