In addition, please read the "Catobase Cautions" section of the tutorial. You can avoid some difficulties down the road.

Have we eliminated, with the most recent beta, the need for replacing the r= with p= ? Is that now an "old" issue?

Thanks guys. I'm ready to admit now I should use a notepad more often than memory. Did I say that already?

Can you give me a little more detail on this? I thought this was an issue too, so was manually adding the rows, but once I went to 6.5b I tried importing a season without touching the trades, and despite no blank after the trade, everything seems to have imported fine. How can I test to see whether it's adversely impacting the data? Thanks! |

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...30#post1372730 In any event, it is my sincere hope that Markus will address this as a part of the final designation of the patch as official, albeit he has no obligation to do so.

Updated. Including the links to download Catobase from Jazzrack's website. All should be prefect if you have the new 6.51 patch.

Just go to the Catobase Tutorial site. The direct links to download are there.

I know Skywalker asked a similar question, but I wanted to get some clarification on an issue.
The current instructions set up show how to use Cato with a league running 6.51. I currently have a previous season saved at the end of the season (not yet flipped) that was run in 6.5a. I don't believe installing 6.51 will do anything with this league (since it just basically overwrites the OOTP65.exe file), so the info is still based in 6.5a. I guess the questions are 1) am I wrong in thinking that the league would still "believe" that it's in 6.5a instead of 6.51 since I can't advance a day or sim anything without flipping the season, and 2) if it is being treated like 6.5a, would you be able to put those instructions back on the website?

1. Install 6.51 if it's not already. 2. Backup your old league file, just to be sure. 3. Open your old league file in 6.51, save and quit 4. Go through all of the cato steps listed here. Honestly, 6.51 and cato should handle your "older" league file fine. I just suggested step 3 just to make sure. I think you'll be fine. |

If that doesn't work. Try this: Send a copy of the league file to 6.12. Open it. Make a minor change, like moving a relief pitcher from #3 to #4. save and quit.
Move the game back to 6.51. It should "convert" to 6.51 again, thereby adding or formatting the league file to fit the version. If this doesn't work, the old steps were simply to edit the ltrans(after it's been renamed to ltrans) so that a blank line/space is before and after the entire details of each trade. Other than this, the rest of the tutorial will suffice.

Oh, if it's 6.5a not 6.5b that you are using, try Larry Anderson's Catofix. PM him and ask for it.(Comedian2004)
