Can't decide
This is my first post here and I'm not trying to start a '14 vs. '15 thread. I've been going back and forth between the '14 & '15 demos but they are time limited so I haven't had a chance to truly play either of them for any extended period of time. This 2.99 bundle looks awesome and is obviously a steal. I would be getting it primarily for OOTP.
Besides the updated 2014 rosters and the interface upgrades, is there really that much of a gameplay difference in '15? I'm not trying to sound like a cheap-o because I understand these games are high quality and I'm sure '15 is worth every penny. It's just hard to pass up 2.99 if the "under the hood" is pretty much the same. I don't care about the new 3D stuff or online. If it makes any difference, I mainly play as GM and I really like to manage the play by play, every other game or so. I enjoy making the in-game manager decisions and making a few trades here and there. My pet peeves are realism with injuries, player development, play by play detail, realisitic pitch counts, morale, AI trade logic. If there hasn't been any huge changes in this dept. from '14 to '15, I would probably just buy '14. If there have been big, important changes then I may just skip the bundle and get '15. Any thoughts from people that have played both versions Any input would be appreciated. |
