Ready to bail on OOTP 14

I'm getting really tired of all the file issues. Every time anything happens my files get fried. The power flickered and shut my computer down. Now, my schedule is screwed up. I'm the middle of the exhibition season and can't force generate a schedule so I can salvage my season. And please don't tell me about backups. I have never ever ever played a game that had files so fragile the entire game is unplayable if anything out of the ordinary happens. Is there some way to force a schedule to generate? I was thinking of buying OOTP 15. If I can't fix this I might just uninstall 14 altogether and just say forget it. I have 20 years of history in a fictional league in danger. I have had to restore from backups too many times to count.

Is there a way to edit the date to roll it back to before the preseason so I can try generating a new schedule?

Good god. Wonder if there is a text file with the schedule in it or a database file.

Check out 15 & see if the guys report better luck. Perhaps seasonal back ups are necessary. Wonder if this should be incorporated into the 2016 game.

This DEFCON 5 nightmare stuff. Or is DEFCON 1 worse than 5 I never understood which way it goes. Hurricanes are ranked in ascending order so 5 is the worst, I assume this is the same. Either way you have to replace your house and computer.
