Player gets demoted automatically

This is on OOTP 15, but I set the player to be locked on the current level, I promote him to MLB and they still send him down. What's going on here and why is this glitch happening?

Not a glitch. Look at what it says by the checkbox.

Do you have Computer set to do moves for your Team?

Well I ask it to do moves for me when I do automatic fixing of rosters. Is there any way to get him on the roster? This is an online league, so I can't just play him everyday and have him on the roster, it changes while the league sims and I come back after a sim and he's demoted. What do I do? How can I make him stay? Makes me want to trade him, I've nver had this issue and even when I lock him to the minor league team and he's on the ML team, it still locks him usually. Don't get it.

I don't want to set demotions/promotions to myself because I want the CPU to handle that, but I want this guy on my team who is by the way better than what I currently have on my roster and has played a year in the majors. This has to be a glitch, no? He's ML ready, better than what I have, why is he in single A of all places?
