Playoff roster - can't put players in the lineup
I'm brand new to the game and, while I see there are many issues with the playoff rosters, I haven't found this particular issue addressed in the forums:
I've reached the playoffs but three infielders no longer appear on the lineups screen. They haven't been on the DL and they're marked as eligible for the playoff roster (at least one of them has never been off the active roster). On the Rosters & Transactions screen, they DO appear on the active roster. But when I go to set lineups, they're gone. Anyone know a way to make them show up again, or at least a way to prevent his happening in the future? |

They can be on your "active" roster but still not be on your "playoff" roster. When you make the playoffs, OOTP automatically sets what it thinks is the optimal playoff roster. But often times (at least with me) they've left off some pretty prominent players.
So if you go to the "Playoff Roster" tab, and you go through the players who are eligible, if you find your missing infielders listed there but not highlighted, you'll need to remove some players from the Playoff roster and then drag your eligible missing infielders back on to the Playoff roster. If they show up listed in the Playoff roster but they're still missing in the Lineup screen, then I'm stumped - I've not seen that before. Good luck! |

Thanks for the reply. If the problem is that unusual, I'll just hope that means it's unlikely to happen again!
