Is arbitration handled differently now?
I've already seen a few weird things in arbitration. I'm playing the Cubs, and after the 2014 season the expected arbitration value for Travis Wood was about $3.5M. I traded him to the Angels before the arbitration hearings. It's now the 2015 season, I look at Travis Woods' profile out of curiosity... and he was awarded a salary of $750,000 through arbitration.
Another example, Welington Castillo had a bad 2014 and was estimated to get about $800,000 in arbitration. I leave the amount set at $800,000, go into the hearings... and he comes out having been awarded a salary of $2.5M.
I don't recall this happening to anywhere near this degree in OOTP 14. Do the estimates mean something else in OOTP 15?
