Another Salary/Cap Question

I haven't simmed that far into the future yet. I assume some of you have. I remember this happening in v11, but I skipped v12.

1. I assume salary's continue to climb as the years tick on? IE salaries across the board will be higher in 2022 than they are now.

2. If you set a salary cap, does it automatically adjust from year to year if you sim?

1. If you are importing historical year settings then yes salaries will climb.

2. I don't believe it will climb with the salaries.

Me personally I set my league where I want it forever and it stays that way.
If you are starting a new fictional league in this style and doing an inagural draft the salary cap can be a problem for the frist few years because of the initial contracts. Although it is not a MAJOR problem because teams work to get below the cap.

So if I start a league in 2012 and don't import a different years financial settings; then salaries will not progress?

I am pretty sure that is the case.

I have my league set in 1903 and use my personal kinda modern financial settings and have it set not to import adjusted settings. I havn't seen an increase of the financials in my leauge history. They've stayed pretty steady.
