At present the only place to do expansion would be is fictional and historical. So I'm guessing that's why they haven't looked into that yet. But if it's not listed yet in patch notes, then it probably isn't fixed yet.

The bug needs a new game to show BUT you can hire a new HC for one year and either throw him out again or (when your TO does not allow it) keep him until the end of the season (just make a 1-year offer) and then continue without him. After the HC is gone, your problem should be gone as well.

In my 2nd offseason after July 1st, Andrew Ladd was suppose to have 5 years left of his contract...however an extra year got randomly added making it 6 years left again. Anyone else notice this? I remember seeing this in FHM2 where a bunch of players with long contracts had a bunch of random years added back on or fully reset to the beginning of the 7-8 year contract

minor bug: On all my games so far the "Sim Period End" button has potential to crash the game, sometimes if I press it more then once by accident it crashes. Other times I could press it on/off as many times as i want and it's fine.

Can we have a look at that save? His contract is definitely set up correctly in the database, expiring at the end of 2022-23.

Thank you for amazing work. One question. When will be Lindholm and Trouba in Ducks and Jets? I mean that they already signed contracts with their clubs but still RFA in update.

I will try to upload tonight. His contract is correct initially however it randomly changes by itself and an extra year got added to it. I noticed this in FHM2 too. Some player contracts that were half way thru their term it would reset back to its first year during the off season.

This is in Sandbox with all leagues enabled and commissioner mode enabled.

Since the rosters are set as they were on NHL opening night, they'll continue to be free agents at the start of games. But there'll probably be a few changes made to the data to make them more likely to re-sign quickly with their teams.
